# PROJECT OP WEG NAAR EEN CIRCULAIRE VARKENSHOUDERIJ

FoodNL heeft verder aangekondigd voorbereidingen te treffen voor een samenwerking met Roemenië op het gebied van het opzetten van digitale ketenvolgsystemen van varkens. De inzet is om in januari tijdens de Grüne Woche tot ondertekening over te gaan in aanwezigheid van de Roemeense minister.

Boris Meessen, trekker eiwittransitie: “Nu met Roemenië samenwerken, straks ook met Spanje Duitsland en Polen.” Toine Claessens (ondernemer Piglet Treatment System BV): “Het volgsysteem voor varkens willen we op Europese schaal uitrollen. Het geeft duidelijkheid over de herkomst en kwaliteit van varkens en daarmee meer garantie voor consumenten.”
