Afgelopen week hadden Jules Goris, Wyno Zwanenberg, Mark Janssen - van Gaal, wethouder gemeente Land van Cuijk en Kees van Rooij, burgemeester Meierijstad en voorzitter van FoodNL een inspirerend gesprek met Esther de Lange, Head of Kabinet van Eurocommissaris Christophe Hansen. In dit gesprek verkenden we de visie van de Eurocommissaris en hoe wij als FoodNL kunnen bijdragen aan de Europese landbouwagenda, waarin duurzame voedselproductie centraal staat.

Praktijkvoorbeelden van gezonder, duurzamer en betaalbaarder voedsel passeerden de revue, met een focus op innovatiekansen en samenwerking met (jonge) ondernemers die zich inzetten voor een duurzame agrifoodsector. Deze initiatieven bieden perspectief en kunnen zowel de Europese Commissie als de vier FoodNL-regio’s vooruithelpen op weg naar een toekomstbestendige voedselketen.
